Spark Plugs and Wires
I have a 2002 S430 with 67k miles and the dealer here told me it was misfiring and wanted to charge me $1550 dollars to change the plugs and wires. I just purchased the special mercedes spark plug wire tool and swivel socket for the plugs.
I have searched all the old threads about this and just wanted to know what most people were using for spark plugs and wires
I found most people were using Bosch Spark Plug Wires, is that the best for our car?
Also found some people used iridium and some used platinum plugs, what is the recommended plug? Also Bosch or Denso?

Go with the stock. I have purchased 16 plugs for $99 form ebay and also stock OEM plugs from ebay as well. No issue and runs smoother. Watch out for the wire length when installing as it is individually different based on the length to reach from plug to coil pack.

Thanks everyone for the responses, I got the Bosch Spark Plug Wire Set 09850 for $130.53 and the Bosch Iridium 9652 Spark Plugs for $95.68 from Amazon with free overnight shipping!

Everything else is literally fake chinese parts. I'm talking about $1 fake plugs from alibaba!

Don't forget about the ignition coils...you might need one or two of these if you are misfiring
Oh and you could have bought stock bosch from autohauz for $95 for 16 of them...I always look there first

Spark Plug for $40.95
Sorry for the late notice but two weeks ago I found a deal with Advance Auto on plugs. I was able to by Bosch stock plugs for a great deal. The deal was for online orders but you can do local pickup. I bought 16 Bosch Platinum plugs for $40.95. When you get to the cart look for a special online code. The code will give you an additional discount.
