Another thread about iphone
Hi!
I have an W220 S350 2003 with COMAND APS (Blaupunkt). Nice car, but got tired that I have to listen to CDs all the time, only few tracks fit in there, so looking for a solution.
I also have phone installed, it's Nokia 6310i, but have some problems with it (does not show more than 250 contacts and hard to sync contacts from my iPhone, keeps messing up middle names), so probably want to install a iPhone connection so I can listen to music (and change songs from the steering wheel) and also make a call (if possible).

But don't understand where does the cradle plug in and does it even fit. Also don't know if the media function work with this.
I guess the old phone can stay only if there is a fix for the contacts problem and if I install the iPod kit, but can't seem to find the cable and information if it fits.
Once asked a guy who works at mercedes service center and he said, that iPod connection isn't a problem for my car, would cost bit over 60$, but can't seem to find that cable on the internet.
I also have a W209 CLK270 2003, I ordered AUX cable, but found out that from the factory the plug where I can put the cable was simply not installed. Luckily found schematics and added the cable the hard way. Found also schematics for W220, could do the same, but will miss the steering wheel controls.
Sorry that I made a topic for such a popular question, but was not able to find a direct answer. Wasn't even able to find if my car uses D2B or MOST.
