Hey guys i have a question. My 03 s500 4 matic is letting air out every so often while im driving. The same sound when you park car and turn off engine. air pump release air and car lowers. Is it normal for that same sound to happen while driving or at a stop light? Just want to know if i have a problem or not? Hope not.

normal. at times the car will bleed air out of the struts to keep the car level or to reduce internal pressure.

Thanks I got more info for you. On way home I turned off the music and opened windows to listen while driving. At red light it happened once I thought it was a truck but no truck around then got on FDR drive and with the bumps no sound but at dips in road when car rises after dip air hisses. Over bumps. NOthing but dips on way up it hisses. What do you think with this info.

if the car is not dropping and you don't hear the compressor running constantly, I wouldn't think about it.
