fixing bottom seat heater W220
I have W220 S350 2003.
I have problems with my seat heaters element (I guess). Drivers seat's back is working properly, but the bottom don't heat at all. I'm wondering, how to diagnose what exactly is broken and is it possible to fix this problem on my own. I have heard (read), that seat heater element is sewn in to the seat cover. So to replace it, I have to by new seat cover. I would like to avoid this kind of solution, because my seat cover is in a good state.

Make sure all the plugs on the bottom are in tack. Sometimes if you wash your car in Car was places they tend to clean the bottom under the seats so it may disconnect. There are four major screws on the rails of the seat. Make sure you unscrew them and also seat belt trigger on the bottom. Once you do that you can maneuver the seat and take it out. Heat compartment is in the seat and there are also wires in it so make sure they are not disconnected. Have someone help you get the seat out since you don't want to damage your console like I did.
