BAS - 4 malfunctions, please help.
Hello, just wondering what's up with this message. It shows up once in a blue moon, like once every two weeks, and stays on until I restarts. If I scroll through, it talks about ABS and other break related stuff, but nothing is wrong, and all my break stuff has been re-done very recently (about a month ago I had everything replaced, but the guy there told me I need to reset the sensor via some steering wheel trick, but it didn't work).
Any ideas?

Sorry for the bump guys, but is there no-one who can shed any light on how to do a reset on the sensor(s)? Apparently there is nothing wrong yet I keep getting this BAS 4 malfunctions message, once every two weeks or so, disappears after re-start for another 10 starts, then comes on all of a sudden in a couple weeks.

ng you probably need to replace the gear shifter, and trypt, i would make sure that all the sensors were pushed back in tightly when you had the work done, there is one for shock and one for speed sensor, look under the wheel well and see if its all good and tight, and push them in and see if that helps, the reset is turn steering wheel full left and right , disconnect battery first and try it.

BAS w/ 4 malfunctions
The gear shifter or the plastic piece inside? This is a recurring issue that the car starts and gets stuck in park. The car functioned properly after I messed with the SAM modules under the hood on the left hand side of the car, but after 200 miles the car malfunctioned again. I checked all fuses, all relays, and took all computers out to clean them with an air compressor. After I did that is when the brake lights came on, and stayed on. Could it be a simple like getting the codes clear?
