Anyone take advantage of the european delivery for the Benz? There are several progams that exists for BMW, SAAB, etc.
I hear its a pretty nice program if you plan on taking a vacation to europe
For BMW, M cars do not qualify, but for the Merc -AMG does!
The European Delivery price of your MB vehicle includes the following services:
· Two nights' lodging at your choice of selected hotels
· Fifteen days of zero-deductible comprehensive insurance (you
can purchase additional insurance if you plan on staying longer
in Europe)
· One taxi coupon for travel from Stuttgart Airport or Central
Railroad Station to your hotel in Stuttgart or the Sindelfingen
Factory
· Breakfast or lunch at the Sindelfingen Factory restaurant.
· Ground transportation of your vehicle from any of the
established drop-off points
· Ocean shipping and marine insurance
· Customs Duty and clearance
· European and U.S. wharf charges
· Destination charge for transportation of your vehicle from the
Mercedes-Benz vehicle-processing center to your selected
Mercedes-Benz Dealer.
Optional is the Black Forest Rally Package:
It's an exhilarating option to our Standard Package for just $1,200* extra (one or two people). Experience a 7-day, 6-night self-guided "rally" tour that takes you from our factory into the Black Forest and then into the Austrian Alps, where the Arlberg Pass will bring you close to Innsbruck. From there you'll head north to scenic Munich. See our recommended itinerary, complete with sightseeing opportunities and a suggested travel route.
This package includes a total of six nights with breakfast for one or two at any of the six eligible hotels (maximum two nights in the same hotel). You may extend your stay beyond six nights for an additional charge. If you plan to travel beyond Munich, please contact your MB Dealer about additional drop-off points.
