why the hell would you consider an s-class as a "young student" with an extremely tight budget? Previously expensive german luxury sedans are not for everyone.

The car is not so expensive as you can see 7 500 $ is the same price as an honda civic ,,, but its far from the city ( 300 miles ) i not the type to break the car ,, i will take care of it ,,, i know it must be insane but its one of my dream car lol

First off, let's start with a little forum etiquette for elstyle. Instead of arriving on the forum and thread-jacking MULTIPLE THREADS WITH THE SAME QUESTION, how about STARTING YOUR OWN THREAD! One thread. JUST one with your query about your contemplated purchase.

Second, you are opening yourself up to a world of problems that only someone who has previously owned one of these cars can understand. The maintenance alone is more than some can handle and that's if nothing goes wrong (and that is a BIG IF!)

This may be your dream car and you found a great deal on a used one but as a student with limited income you are stepping in wayyyyy over your head. Keep dreaming about the car for a few more years while you finish your degree and then you will be in a better position to afford the car.

Back to the OP. I can't believe nobody has responded to you query yet. Let me apologize on behalf of the forum for the rudeness of the thread-jack and the members-at-large responding to the thread-jacker. Very poor form by all involved. Your complaint regarding the steering wheel is very disconcerting and seems like a pretty dangerous situation to me. There must be some kind of short in your steering column at the adjustment lever. You should have this checked out ASAP. Unless you are willing to tear up the steering column yourself to try to diagnose and repair it you should get an expert to check your column and get that fixed ASAP before it causes an accident.

Good luck,

Keith
