Arnott Air Suspension Products

I am having the same issue with my 2003 S-500. The drivers side rear just dropped to the ground when I was parked. I started it and it attempted to come up. I drove it and received "STOP THE CAR IS TO LOW" alert. I have not taken it to a mechanic yet but I am pricing out the parts. I believe I will go with a pair rebuilt air shocks for the rear. It seems to be the only affordable way to go.

I saw them on ebay for $798 for the pair. You can also get front and back $1,399.

Unless anyone else has a better idea.

I agree its the way to go. Ihave airmatic on my s430 and I like the feature of having an adjustable ride . I would not put the coil spring conversion on my car unless I wasn't concerned with ride height when car. Is loaded or has pasengers and luggage in the trunk your car would sit like a low rider in the back without airmatic.

Besides once replaced you should be all good ,,gas charged struts wear out just as the same as rubber air struts.

Hey fellas i replaced the driverside strut with arnott with life time replacement. I brought the strut for $388.00 flat. I asked them why is the price so low because its almost half what arnott sells for on it own site. They told me they get good prices so they pass it on to us. After it was shipped the representative called me and said they forgot to add core charge of $200 and it will be refunded when i send back bad strut. To make a long story short, i didnt pay core i just sent bad strut back in pre paid box. I receintly checked the same strut is now $588 and $200 core. Still is cheaper than any place i seen. The rear though is $989 The place is called CARID.com.
