Can someone please help me with a detailed discription of wheel offset? I am looking for new wheels for my S430. I found a very nice set of 18" staggered Brabus' that I can get for an excellent price but the offset (ET) is only 30. I know that the AMG wheels that come on the car if you get the Sport pkg have offsets of 44&46. What does this affect? is it possible to use 30 offset wheels on my car? I know people use 35 offset all the time.
Any help please?
And yes I know I asked a similar Q in earlier post but didn't really get much info. TIA

Are they 18x8.5 & 18x9.5?

I don't think you'll have a problem with them fitting...but they might stick out a little far from the fender.

Thanks, kinda figured. Stick out and rub on the rears probably. Did some searching and have a little better understanding of offset or ET as the wheels are sometime stamped. I guess spacers can take it out(offset) but no way to put it back in cuz wheels are manufactured with it.
