Trunk Lid harness Help for 2002 S430
Hi,
The ground wire is broken inside the trunk lid cable. I purchased a new one from tne web and installed it. Everything works exept the new cable is missing a plug that leads to the emergency in-the-trunk release button, the round button with a green light to be used to open the trunk in case someone is trapped inside it.
The original cable (part# 2208208715) had a 5-wire plug go to this release button, but the new cable, purchase by mistake, (part # 2208206615) does not have it. Both versions of cable have a spare 3-wire plug not used nested in the same position. I am wondering if I could use the spare 3-wire plug to work the release button or fit it to a different release button. For that I need the harness diagram for the 2208206615 cable and ideally also a diagram for the 8715 cable.
