another speedometer problem
Hi people, I am a new owner of second hand 320cdi, and have some problems with the car. Speedometer works fine for few minutes, then needle slowly goes down, and shows 20-30mph, when I'm driving 60mph.
I can't say that it is sticking, because needle moves smoothly, no jerks, vibration or sudden drop down or up. It just shows half or third of the speed I am doing.
If car stops, it goes to 0, but as the speed builds up, sometimes it goes up ok, but usually too slow. Cruise control and speed limiter works fine. Digital speedo works ok too.
Is it electrical problem, or is it cable (if there is one)?
Or maybe something else?
