2000 MB S430
Rear lowers when car is turned OFF.
I noticed last couple of times that the rear of my 2000 S430 (W220) lowers after a few minutes. Does anyone have any idea as what could cause this.
Seems like both shocks loos air. Hard to believe that both shocks went out at the same time.
Would it be possible that there is something wrong with the compressor?!
Please help with any ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I would think more along the lines of a valve body that services the rear shocks. Doubtful they both went out at the same time (although not out of the realm of possibility). If it were compressor the whole car would drop.

Yours won't be air anyway as its hydraulic. Hoaz has a good thread where he mentions cleaning up the valves to stop his dropping (basically they were leaking & losing pressure as I recall). Was a bunch of hours if you are handy & he has photos etc.
