Cd changer compatibility
I've tried to burn a cd but it wont either be read on my pc and the car .. maybe i just failed to correctly burn the cd but i did everything it said to be done. I used Cd-R with many different software ,, then tried mp3, wma,wav, and none worked ,,, Does the cd changer read burned cds ? Ive tried to burn in cd audio but the cd never fills in with the music ,, iam tired of this **** iam wondering if i should bye a plug for mp3 in the ash plug

What are you using to burn the CD? Has to be the format because when CD's are burned properly they will generally play on any audio device that allows for CD playback.

The older CD units, such as the ones that we have in our S430s, will not play anything except for audio Cd's - no MP3s, WAVs, WMAs, etc. These are computer data disk formats.
The audio CD format is usually called either CDA or CD-DA - they are actually the same format. If you simply tell your computer software to copy an audio disk, it will probably work in your changer. If your CD-R disks won't work, try a CD+R - a few changers are picky about which one that they use.
