S 55 AMG
help....ECU required
Hi all, i need some urgent advice regarding my S 55 AMG W220 (2003) and ive been referred to this forum as the place to ask.
Basically the ECU, Control Unit has gone (apparantly it has 'flooded' according to the mechanic and now the car wont start)
Mercedes can fix this but they would like1500 pounds for a new ECU and 500 for programming/fitting
Ive been told I can alternatively get the part myself (from ebay or scrappy) and see if someone (possibly from here) knows anywhere or anyone who can reprogram the replacement ecu, using the old one as a template or something along those lines.
1- does anyone know where i can get the part, cant seem to find the exact one.
2- anyone able to do this or know anywhere reputable in london it can be done.
