deleting cats can give you around 20 - 25 hp but you have to reprogram the ecu

The M275 S600 V12TT has only one set of cats that are right after the turbos. They dont have any secondary cats.

shardul did you tune your ecu to git rid of the cats or did you just removed them with a stock tune ?

cuz now i am thinking of deleting my cats for more power ( stock ecu )

allot of people told me that i may loose power if i did delete my cats without getting a tune

2003 S600
I don't have a sound clip, but it did not make a drastic change to the exhaust tone. It did increase the sound in a good way. Only downside is that the exhaust fumes are more noticeable
I'll try and post a clip tomorrow, but I also removed the stock mufflers and replaced them with some aftermarket stainless steel resonator mufflers, which I did mainly for larger exhaust tips as the stock tips are on the small side especially compared to the S55.

Overall combined sound is equivalent to your average cat-back exhaust.

This is how they look.
