Can someone please tell me how to remove the engine cover?
I just bought two K&N air filters for my 2000 S500 and was hoping someone here could help me out. Are there any tips that could help me out? Thanks!

I actually detailed the process a while back. The plastic cover pulls straight up and off. You first need to remove the smaller plastic front cover however.
After everything is off, flip the large plastic cover over and loosen all the torx bolts. The plastic cover will then be able to be separated in order to access the filters.

I can't exactly say that I hear or feel a difference although I'm sure it must be doing more than the factory air filters. If anyone knows about the performance before and after I'd appreciate it.

i thought K&N filters held excess oils that it messes up the MAS sensor???
is that not an issue with W220s? lot of the w208 clk320s are getting that problem when they install a big K&N cone filter...
