Does anyone know if you can "retrofit" a V60 in place of the StarTac? Also, the rear case on my StarTac is broken so it doesn't clip into the console mount. Can I replace the phone wit hanoother TDMA StarTac or swap out the back case?

Mercedes states that 'some' 2000 S-Calss vehicles can be retofited to the v60. See you parts/service dept for info.

i have that phone option too but not the service? do you know how it works and the cost?

I just bought my 2000 S500 with a TDMA phone that works with ATT and Cingular. I just had the number transferred from my other phone and used my existing Cingular plan.

I'm hoping to upgrade to a V60 and will check into it further.
