W220 - Centre rear headrest wont come out - help!
Hi there.
Cannot remove the centre rear headrest on my '99 W220. Unlike the left and right ones which have release tabs so the yokes can come out of their mounts, the centre one doesnt have these. In the limited gaps behind the rear seat and from above, I cannot see any alternative way these can come out. My console switch for the rear headrests is only one way to drop the headrests hence they need to be manually lifted....if this helps at all. Im trying to remove the rear shelf to get to the connector underneath so I can remove the headliner to replace my rusted out sunroof.
Any clues please?
