I'm getting a code 122 check engine light is on. has anyone ever run into this and what was the problem. I don't know if its the throttle actuator motor or the gas pedal sensor?? There's no power whe.n you press the gas pedal

Replace the pedal assembly. Very easy. Had the same problem on my 2001 S430.

Thanks bro,you hit the nail dead on the head . I replaced the accelerator pedal assembly now I'm back to normal. Running like a champ. I heard somewhere that you have to re calibrate The pedal with the throttle plate. Have you heard of this and did your car shift the same.

Hey did anybody ever get an answer to this? I attempted to install another pedal assembly and its working worse now that it did before.
