I was just wondering how the pneumatic door assist thing works, could somebody enlighten me.

When you shut your doors past a pre-deteremined level, a pneumatic latch actuator will complete the closing/latching process.

You just don't have to use brute force to slam the door shut anymore. Just swing it close and hear a click, the rest would be done by the car.
