S430 negative battery cable replacement?
I'm thinking just to pull the inner liner cover to expose the wiring, then unbolt the negative cable from its connection and the connection to the battery.

Anyone with experience chime in please?

If you keep power to the computer via the obd2 connector then you wouldn't have to reset anything afterwards. Autozone sells a $15 part that connects from an emerg or aux battery or another car's cigarette lighter to accomplish this. I did this successfully when I replaced my battery. Just a thought.
