all S500 have hid's?
just wonding if all S500 have hid's.... reason i ask is some of the ads on autotrader list the hid and some dont.
I think they all do but figured i would as you all.

2000 S-Class
It is very hard to tell the difference between an S430 and S500 if someone changes the badge or removes it. You can tell by feeling the leather because the S500 comes with Napa leather which is softer to the touch.
I have a 2000 S430 with the AMG sports package which I removed the emblems and some people mistaken it for an S55. All I need are the exhaust tips and it could be a dead ringer but the aftermarket ones don't really look right.
Almost forgot to answer your original post question. If I remember right, the earlier model S430 and S500 did not come standard with HID. It was an option. I think later around 2002 is when they made it a standard feature on the S500. Don't quote me on that but that is what I kind of remember.

hell all i want is a 040 black with black S500 with heated seat (as the wife would say) and some normal miles.
Every one i come across has 25,000 or 75000.
Im going to have to do something by Jan... Dont think the baby seat will work well in the CLK.
