Loud beeping coming through speakers, need help.
Trying to help my mom out. She hasn't been driving her 2000 s500 for months because of a beeping noise.
It sounds similar to the tone of pressing a number on a phone. The tone is random and happens anywhere from every 10 seconds to once every 10 minutes. It's very loud and unnerving.
After doing some searching I think it may have something to do with the built in cell phone (Motorola startac) and read on a thread that unplugging the cell phone relay in the trunk helped stop the noise.
I am unable to pinpoint which piece is the cell phone relay and am hoping somewhere can help me out with a diagram or picture.
