MY TRUNK OPENER DOESNT WORK FROM INSIDE OR KEY
THE TRUNK OPENING HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IN MY 2002 S430 DOESNOT HAVE OIL IN THE RESERVOIR.I HEARD THAT IT CAN BE REFILL WITH HYDRAULIC OIL.I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL WAYS WITH NO SUCCESS. HOW CAN I PUT OIL IN THAT RESERVOIR? .PESCABA

Probably the easiest way to fill the reservoir is to remove it. Just disconnect the red and blue hydraulic wires that are holding it in. You might want to put a towel or some paper down because when you remove those wires some fluid will leak out. Just remember the positioning of the cables before you remove them.
After you have removed the pump take the clamp off that holds the plastic reservoir cap on. Fill the reservoir up to the "fill" line and put it all back together. I used Automatic Transmission Fluid to fill mine up.
