IGNITION COIL CONNECTOR
Does anyone know the part number for the ignition coil connector on the 2000-2006 S500.
While changing the plugs and wires in my car I had a one of those little clamps that hold the connector to the ignition coil break. They become brittle over time and when removing them from the coil those little squeeze clamps are easy to break.
I know it must have a separate part number because those 3 pins can be pushed out to free up the connector.

Part is shown in the EPC as #30................
I used my vin # 2001 S430 but should be the same as it is still M113 motor. I'm attaching complete parts list also. Good luck on your search.

Thanks very much Mercy-Me for the quick response. The diagram is very helpful. I have saved the pdf to my personal "Mercedes Encyclopedia" for future reference.

Just for future reference if anyone needs the part number for this little connector it is 203-545-30-28
Also, if you happen to screw one of the pins up while taking them out here is the part number for the connector with the pins intact. 000-540 38 05
If you order the part online even with the shipping cost it is cheaper than buying them at the dealer. The dealer wants about $6.50 for the connectors and I found them online for $2.75. Think I'll just order the two I need and a couple of spares.
