S 500 and LX 470

2003 side mirrors for S class

hi....
do you guys have any idea how much is the 2003 side mirrors with crystal look for S class.
I was just wondering, where to get it and will they fit?

2003 S500

MM17, do you have more pics of your car. Also, where did you get those foglights from. I want to get some installed on my 03 s500.

hi there...
you can check on my other thread. i already posted some pics of my car.
about the foglights, it comes with the body kit by BRABUS. the 03 ones is different with the one i have. the 03 has 2 small foglights, left and right.

I at one point talked to a Mercedes parts guy regarding this 2003 reflective LED mirrors. He said you have to replace the whole mirror assembly, which is about $500 each side. You can buy the outside cover and the LED lights only for about $160 or so each side but you have to do some work to fit it in because it is not a plug-in replacement. He also told me that the electrical connector is different. I am tempted to buy the cover assy and work on my 2002 S430 but I have not had time yet. Hopefully I will do it soon.

2007 S550

It's true the covers can be swapped out for about $140 ea. They come painted. The entire housing and assembly are about $500 ea. The option is the original assembly being "retrofitted" to fit in the new housing. Also, the puddle light will not work as there is no wiring in the pre-2003s
