Good afternoon all,

Last week, a storm came through suburban Detroit and blew a fence into the driver door of my 2006 S430.

This is the first time my car has been damaged and I was wondering if anyone would be able to estimate a cost for repair before I brought it in. I just want to get a ball park estimate. I have attached pictures.

Also, if anyone is in the metro Detroit area and knows of a good body shop, please point me in that direction. Thank you.

that's sucks, it all depends. I would have my insurance take care of it because it might get expensive. IE they cant match the door paint with everything else so they have to paint the whole side or at least blend in the area...however, I know there are people that will do it for less than 500 bucks, but, you get what you pay for, I would at least make sure they wet sand the car afterwards so everything matches from a gloss perspective..

i would look for a salvage yard this color gray was very popular and you can buy a door for 250 and instill it yourself!
