Please help with wheels bolts size 18x8 .5J ET +48 do they fit S430 '04

I found these wheels and tires 245/40 18" with W212
18x8 .5J offset ET +48 18" from Mercedes E Class Factory Wheels OEM E350

Do they fit with my car 225/55 17" OEM wheel offset 40 or 44 I'm not sure?
IF they're fit. Can I reuse current lugs bolts? or neet to buy new ones and what size should I buy?

Please help ASAP my current tires can explode any minutes.

Thank you so much for any of your help/knowledge.

Be cautious when downgrade wheels. Not like floor mat which works as long as the size is similar, rims are designed to meet certain specification. E.g., E rim may not take the load as S is a heavier chassis.

Safety first.

While I agree with 129's theoretical caution the practical reality is that the wheels will fit but will pose a clearance potential due to the different ET's. Search the forum and you will find a post that allows you to enter various combo's and points out the potential clearance issue

they will fit, with a 48 et it will sit a little deeper in the wheel well, you might want to a spacer

Really! I don't know he will let me try it on with his bolts which are in his car. I asked but didn't hear a reply from him.

the bolts will fit but the wheel will sit deeper in the wheel well so i would get spacers and maybe a little longer mb bolt. but try it it will fit. if you have a lower et the wheel wil fit flush with the body.
