I spent 6 hours friday and 6 hours yesterday in an 02 S500 just like that S.
I have to say it was a lot of fun taking the Fat Lady Dancing. Its a standard '02 S500. She handled Sebring perfectly for a total street car. If you notice the E46 M3 in the background, I had passed that car on the front straight. She did not like the slow tight corners and showed a lot of tail out action through tuns 5,7, 10 and 16 but the long fast sweepers were handled with grace and higher speeds than I ever acheived in my Audi S4. The brakes held up perfectly with no fade and amazing stopping power, but watch out for the cheese graters getting clogged. Although when I first arrived to the event, I overheard some nasty comments, people were amazed and started asking why I took the 55 and AMG badge off and stuck the 16's with A/S tires on it hehe. Was hitting the rev limiter on the back straight. Tons of fun. I can only imagine what it would have been like if it had the ABC and sport package.
