ABC pressure problem need help
Background information:
RED ABC visit workshop, connected STAR and code reads "malfunction in pressure supply"
ABC fluid was flushed last year, and again NOW to see if fresh fluid, filter and rodeo helps.
Pump slowly pressurizes (using the air hose compressor trick)
I am able to rev the engine and build 180 bars so the car can perform rodeo.
But during idle the pressure slowly drops again within a few minutes all the way back to 1 or 2 bars only and ABC visit workshop in red pops appears again.
The only way I am able to pressurize the pump to 180 bars is with the airhose trick and keep it there by revving the engine but the pressure doesn't hold and drops back again if I don't.
I don't see any leaks.
Questions:
1) Think my pump is toast?
2) Is it hard V12 vs V8? What needs to come out? I've done several ABC pumps on V8 models I don't think it's hard.
3) Can a V8 ABC pump fit a V12? Ex: CL500 pump fit a 2003 S600?
