If the amp is bad the diagnostic will say. Hold mute, the button 1 and the button 3 at the same time . It will bring you to the diagnostic menu. Once done post pic of diagnostic screen and will go from there

hello i have a 2000 s500. my radio doesnt work, no sound, voice commands, navigation,the phone, and even the cd changer doesnt work. the screen is on but nothing, every now and then the sound comes back on and as soon as i turn off the car, back to no sound. also i hear a beeping sound at least 5 times a day.i have disconnected the negative and nothing, i havent tried anything with the cd changer yet. and dont know what to do with the phone, if there is a hard reset or something. i would greatly appriciate all suggestions, to helping me solve the problem with the radio. thanks
