What is it ? Where should it go ??
I removed the front left fender wheel arch liner, to get to the alarm horn for replacement.
When I went to re locate it I found floating/sandwiched between the plastic bottom tray (about a foot back from the jacking point)
A black plastic moulded tube.
It was free floating and I was able to pull it out about a foot or so long.
Sorry its the best description I can give. Possibly some kind of drain tube from somewhere in that area.
Just dont know where it was originaly fixed, or why ???
Any help much appreciated.

Pulling that drain tube out was not a good idea. You better find where it was attached or you will have water problems possibly getting into electronics.

Didnt pull it out Bud it was floating around sandwiched between the floor pan plastc tray.
But I totaly agree with you. If its some kind of drain off extension it need to be re fitted pronto.
Thats why Im asking if anyone has ever seen anything remotely like it around the front left wheel arch liner ???
Have checked the drain point under the bonnet thats all clear. I know all about the S class flooding the floor pan if that one gets blocked, nasty, very nasty.
Thanks for the heads up elbe.
