I was driving and had to put my gear in park for a second, all of a sudden it was stuck in park the windows wouldn't go up or down they were stuck open. I turned off the car had trouble turning the key to restart it but when I did CEL was on and ABS, ESP, Airmatic SRS, BAS all were on as well. code read P1747. (CAN BUS A1 instrument Cluster) All these issues would come at one time then off when I restart the Car for about 2-3 days. Eventually I got stuck at work cause the key finally would not turn. I mean it turned then the car started for a second then immediately shut off, tried key again and it wouldn't turn. Searched everywhere didn't know if it was battery, key, or ignition switch. Ruled out the battery. Had nowhere else to go but the dealer they ordered a New key for $224. Just posting this because I know people have had similar signs but different problems. Mine was the Key 2000 S500 113000 miles. This is my first Post but I always use this site and it helps. Just trying to return the favor.
