clear lights??to go exactly where on the side bumper? do you have any pics of the clear side markers?? rides pretty good actually when i got them i was concerned but the ride is not bad at all.

I was actually looking into buying another 2001 S 500 and I would just lorinser or brabus it, and I shopped around and they go for like under 30k now. That is crazy! Good thing I got rid of it, the price dropped a lot, but I would still buy a 2000, or 2001 S Class over a C Class. It is still a G ride eventhough the price has dropped so drastically.

Yeah, I am sure it will hold its value better than the W221's, but I am still shocked that the price difference between an 06 W220 and a 2000 is like 50k, that is just weird?!

Before I start on this subject, please note that if someone offered me a W221, I would take it in a heartbeat for a trade on my W220, but I must say this:
I think the W221 is a sexy looking car on the outside... if you ever see one going the opposite direction the highway, you'll know what I mean, it means business. It might be a little Lexus-like and not a classy as the W220, but it's still a sexy car.
On the interior of the W221... I think that it's disgusting for the lack of a better word. I can not get over that hump in the middle, that looks so out of place.

Damn, you got lucky. I bought my old one for 105k and traded it in for the 06 and only got 74k for it. Now that is a rip for basically the same car.
