Just a question...Why in the hell would he need to lower it? That car looks "Grown" like the person that owns it is established and is well to do, not like some kid owns it(no disrespect intended). IMO, lowering these cars look very funny and chlid-like. It also makes them look cheap, almost like a souped up subaru or something from the movie fast and furious. Just my opinion.

Besides, IMO...my car does not look have the fast and the furious or souped up suburu look. Eliminating the wheel gap when running low profile tires does wonders for the look of the car.

Not that your car isnt nice, because it is. But to me, lowering them takes something away. Almost makes the car look too top heavy(especially in the rear) and wheels appear too small. The S is just too long for lowering, imo. But who really cares what I think anyway! Its all about each persons individual tastes.

Excuse the Camera Phone Quality, these are pics before Clay and Wax last week. I need to get my hands on a SLR camera for some quality shots.

They are 20" AMG Replicas – 8.5" front, 9.5" rear – 44/46 offset. Tire sizes are 245/35/20 up front and 275/30/20 in the back. Have had a slight rub in the rear but I need to grind off the tab inside the fender well, also could be my 11 year old rear shocks.

It's actually not bad like I thought it would be. I've put about 8 or 900 miles on the tires/rims so far and I can't complain. Yes - it is true you feel more of the road, but I find myself noticing the small bumps more often than anything. The road noise isn't any louder than it used to be. I really can't complain for upgrading to 20s.
That said, your 18 inch rims will probably give you a closer ride quality to stock than I currently have.
