Blower Motor DIY fail
Hey everyone, I removed my blower motor to clean it with WD-40 and lubricate it with silicon spray so it would spin more freely (barely spun a quarter rotation with a swipe) put it back in and now nothing happens at all. beforehand defrost would still slightly work but now nothing at all. I'm going to try this test next which I'm kicking myself in the butt for not doing beforehand

Now my question is, is there anything else in addition to that test that would help diagnose if it's the motor or just the regulator? I will be doing the test later on today
And on a side note. when putting the motor back together I snapped 2 of 3 clips that held it into place, so I glued them together then with duco cement I had laying around. Would this for any reason be causing a problem?

no. it was about to go out, so just get another fan and replace it, remember its over 10 years old. i do have a new unused regulator if you want to buy it, $40 bucks. to try and see if its just that. you can get a fan from sponcer site on here.

Surprisingly cheap, I'm going to try my current regulator and if it doesn't work I'll go ahead and buy another.
