Display Defective w/NO other errors
Hi guys, so I recently bought an '03 S600 with 56k miles and everything appears to be in great shape so far!
Since the day I bought it there has been a "Display Defective" malfunction. I've done some research here on the forum, but everyone that I've seen with this malfunction also has other issues; electronics going haywire and such. Mine doesn't appear to have any other issues other than the display defective alert.
Is there a way to reset this to see if it comes back? Or any other permanent solution?
Thanks for the support!

If it is a cluster problem and you are beyond the 10-year warranty, there are shops that will repair the cluster for far less than the cost of replacing it. You can do an online search, or check some sources at http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220...tart-here.html

Thanks Skylaw, I have been referencing that link quite a bit lately!
Iganski, you're correct I am going to hurry in to the dealership in an attempt to make the cutoff of my 10 year warranty.
Thanks for all the support.
