pse pump issue or low battery?
I noticed that when the car is on, the door locks will lock and unlock without issue. But when the engine is off, then it has the issues like the pump doesnt generate enough vacuum.
also, when you close the doors, sometimes the soft close doesnt activate for around 8 seconds then all of a sudden the door will suck in. This happens to all 4 doors.
does this sound like a weak pse pump or low battery issue?
I know there is somthing wrong with the car because I used to have my own s55 and the door locks would unlock and lock way faster than they do on this car, and the doors would immediately soft close when you close the doors
Thank guys

Check battery voltage engine not running, anything less than 12.0 to 12.6 is not good. The closer to 12.6 the better.
Not so quick check if the battery is okay ....
Pull paneling in left side of trunk ( facing trunk ). Near top of wheel arch. Grey foam block. Pull grey foam off and while gently almost closing any door, see if pump runs for that 8 sec you mentioned before soft close kicks in. If it does, and because symptoms are systemic rather than an isolated door malfunction, I would suspect pump itself.
Part number is A 220 800 12 48 and runs in the $475-$550 range on line for an OEM model.
