i think from that angle they look somewhat similiar.
my guess is that BMW's new design direction influenced MB more than any particular car design. i think MB felt they had to reach out in a direction that was off the beaten path just in case BMW's new designs were widely accepted and admired. since...imho
BMW's designs are not being received very well i doubt we will see MB go to far off into uncharted waters. I like the CLS but...what gives....4 door coupe
? why not just make an E class that has 2 doors?
