SPEED LIMITER

I have posted on this before but had limited reply.
I can set speed limit using the cruise stalk however even though the speed limit is turned back to cruise the limit is permanently on 130mph. Always on 130mph limit. What is this?! I want it back to how it was

A Mercedes obviously!
How do you set the speed limiter on US cars? I recall my father's early UK W220 having it but I don't think my US S600 does as it wasn't part. It's a rather handy feature.

All searches point to removing the actual limiter from the vehicle's top speed.

We are not talking about removing the limiter at all.
I can set a limiter to any speed however even now BUT my vehicle is set at 130mph limit. I cannot go over this at all.
It was not like this before.
ANY ONE CAN HELP WITH THIS PLEASE! I want to do 155mph! LOL!!!!!

Thanks for the reply but I think people aren't understanding. On my speedo the car is limited to 130mph. Before it wasn't.
It is greyed out after the 130mph mark. It is as though the speed limiter is set at 130mph. Before it was all the way white dial.

You need a star diagnostic system to change it back to the original.
