S500 double din kit oem match designo
Hello,
I'm looking around for dash kit for a double din after market radio to match my 2001 designo wood grain. All the ones I see look darker. Any suggestions?

You'll be hard pressed to find a lot (if any) designo aftermarket wood trim pieces, on eBay or elsewhere.
I would look for OEM designo trim pieces from the 03+ W220's. They already have the double din, so its easier to modify if necessary.
From time to time I DO see "designo" parts on ebay. Sometimes I see them and the seller has no idea they are designo.
While the chestnut wood is not a match, it is much closer than Burl to the Elm wood found in the Silver and Espresso designo editions.
