Hi, can anyone please tell me what this component does?
I have a 2003 S500 4MATIC and was having a problem with no sound from the radio, i found the problem bypassing this component, but have no idea what it controls, it was located behind the amp in trunk, any help is appreciated, thanks Rob

 

i believe it is the control unit for the linguatronic voice system.
