20 yr. 250k miles -- anyone have W210 and W220 long term can compare repair costs?

My wife just got a 2011 CPO W221 S550, and now I can have her 2002 W220 S430 with 150k miles and a remanf. tranny at 85k miles. The W220 needs $5,000 in deferred maintenance -- suspension bushings/control L/R front, motor mount, tranny mount, new plugs and wires, Secondary Air filter and hoses replacement, trunk vacuum closing thing.
What I'm wondering is this -- does anyone out there own both the W210 and W220 that has taken them to over 200k miles that can comment on what expenses I might expect with both cars over the next 50,000 miles?
I'm wondering about the original tranny in the 2001 w210, which was serviced/flushed at 100k miles... how long to these trannys last?
Things I already fixed on the W220 between 100k and 150k miles:
- new radiator
- new radiator related part located under driver windshild wiper that was spitting out steam
- left front airmatic strut (Arnott)
Thank you in advance for any experiences you can give me about your own cars, or what you generally know about W210 and W220 regarding expected repair costs (assume indy pricing) over the next 50,000 miles, or even more.
I do not DYI, but I always learn what a repair is about, and I try to secure Bosch or similar parts from autohausaz.com to save a little, and have an indy mechanic, or for simple things, the gas station mechanic, do the labor.

Plugs have a specific mileage change out schedule, usually 90-100K. Wires last longer. Filters too have a change out schedule in your maintenance guide same as oil changes etc.
Hoses should have been replaced with radiator. Some other areas to plan on would be the serpentine belt, idler pulley and probably the most overlooked item, the belt tensioner. The tensioner will fail for sure some day and leave you stranded.
It took me all the above to get to.......................
