lowering and camber?

going to lower my 01 s600 after i get done fixing my abc valve blocks shortly.

i see images of guys with camber like none other and im not into buying tires that much due to the price.

is there a camber kit or are the struts adjustable or camber bolts or something?

i havent found much info on this. most people just keep complaining in old posts about "you should see my drop, i have to keep buying tires". Im not into that cambered cars, I just want to get rid of the ridiculous wheel gap on the front.

thanks for your time

How are you going to lower it ? Lowering links , electronic lowering module , star or just washers?

Many of those won't lower it so much that you'll have any camber problems , I wouldn't worry about it until you finish the lowering and take some alignment readings

star diag or washers.

I would love to do it with star diag but i dont have the measuring tool and i dont know where exactly im supposed to put in the measurements and make the system save it. I heard the washers are super easy by just raising the car up with the buttons on the dash and turn off the car, install washers and put blue lock tite on threads and put it back together. but like i said.....star would be preferred method for me.

i am going down atleast 1 inch in the front, possibly 1.5 inches but not more than that. I think 1inch probably wont be an issue but 1.5 inches will. I really dont like buying tires and i like my cars planted to the ground. Its not my only vehicle as it does get winter/bad weather stored so its not driven 8000 miles a year but it would be nice to beat up on the tires some without the insides being eaten up if i take a weekend drive to st louis or down to branson. those are 4 hour drives each way not including the time of driving in those cities.

The washer method should not require a camber change

I heard 1.5inch can be acquired with washers, I do not want the wheels tucked, just not as much wheel gap. After I get the no start fixed I'll then go to the abc valve block repair and lower at the same time.

Thanks everyone!

Since the mid 90's model’s there has been no accurate Camber and Caster adjustment facility fitted OEM!

Only current adjustment is front and rear Toe.

To attempt to return vehicle to factory specs to resolve premature inner edge tire wear, improve traction, fix steering pull the only alternative for Camber and Caster is to fit offset, slotted bolts.

But these are inaccurate one only position bolts with a minuscule .3 of one degree adjustment (3mm).

After installation it's no wonder many owners then go on to stating dealerships or alignment shops still did not get it right/fix the problem.

We saw the need therefore "to fix it right the first time" by designing, developing, patenting (and re-instating from the 1990's) fully adjustable front suspension for virtually all models.

The current K-MAC kits have up to 4 times the adjustment of the one position offset bolts (both Positive or Negative). And unlike the bolts can be accurately adjusted - under load, direct on alignment turntable (no need to jack and reinstall each time).

Ongoing precise adjustment of both Camber and Caster settings if altering suspension height, fitting wide profile tires/wheels or for curb knock damage with the unique K-MAC patented design is just a single wrench/no disassembly.

For the rear, similar kits for precise Camber adjustment with additional Toe to compensate for the new Camber facility. Unlike adjustable arms K-MAC rear kits do not move top of tire outwards reducing all important clearance to outer fender when adjusting to reduce premature inner edge tire wear/improve rear traction.

Bonus with the four front and four rear bushes is that they are designed with twice the load bearing area and also replace the highest wearing suspension bushings. And with K-MAC no special tools are required to fit.
