check engin code 2034 crankshaft position sensor
While driving my 06 S500, the check engine light came on. Within a mile or two the engine shut down. After a few minutes I was able to start it and drive home. My code reader says the fault code is 2034, "crankshaft position sensor". Where is this sensor located? is this something a home mechanic with some skill can repair?

Very easy fix. Just make sure your engine is cool when you do it. and DON'T DROP the screw that holds the sensor in. Here is a very good video on the procedure.
