so i recently purchased a used 02 s430 it seemed to be well taken care of. anyway the radio was not working (no amp) i removed the radio also the climate control and when removal of this unit it has not worked? im almost 100% sure all is hooked up correctly. the unit has no power , no lights , no function. i checked fuses , tried un-hooking the batt for a few min , but its still dead. Its so dang humid in my area i broke down and called the dealership and priced a new climate control unit (ouch) anyway before i try this possible solution does anyone know much about these? are they prone to fail? maybe im missing some fuse or relay? a secret wire? anything out there?
