Glove Box wont open
Hi Guys
This is strange. I picked up my 2004 S430 a week ago today- and just realized I had never opened the glovebox.
Tried to open it today and it wont open.
Tried the little key on the remote - it turns OK - just when I press the release button - noting happens.
Any suggestions ?

The release button works thru a cable to the latch. Does it feel as if it is releasing the latch? Try pressing in on the door as you push the button, then releasing the door, then the button.
The key is to disable the latch button. If it is in the disable position, the button won't work.
