Do w140 and w220 have similar/like front suspension

I have a chance to purchase a w220 MB ball joint R&R tool. The tool is designed to remove and press the ball joint into the steering knuckel on the w220.

Does anyone know if the tool will also work on the front suspension of a w140?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but what I do know is that the 2000+ s class has an air suspension called airmatic whereas the previous s class has a normal spring suspension. hope that helps

I highly doubt it; the W220 and W140 are completely different vehicles.
