s430 vs s500 difference other than engine?
other than the motor, what else is diff bet teh 2? if some1 can post a complete list, that'd be great.
also is the 500 worth $10k mroe? is 430 a dog?

The 500 has a fair amout of torque over the 430, and has more standard features which are optional on the 430. Either one seems to be a great car. You cant go wrong. Some cant tell a difference when driving others can. This topic has been so discussed to death by forum members, even I once posted something of the liking. You can do a search and get more answers, some people will probably link you to those threads. Overall they are both great cars, just depends on if the diff is that noticeable to you.

Two very informative threads with copious amounts of information about the same decision you're going through. Have you driven both to a great extent? A lot of us on this forum are car enthusiaists and as the lovers of all things with power, we appreciate even more power; therfore for a lot of us the S500 is better because, like ILuvS500 said, more torque. Torque is easily simpled down to better off the line response and pulling when overpassing.

Ahh man I just got outta a S500 and mad you can feel that car pullin even if you just accelerating up to 30. Sounds amazing too. I love it and cant wait to get mine.
