Go With OPTI-1 Route. Some wiring required but you can update your unit to any aftermarket unit in future.
I initially installed pioneer z110 and just last week changed to another pioneer 8100nex and all I needed to rewire new unit was 5 cable splices.

I need help please.

I am looking to upgrade to one of the eBay android units but I need to use my factory amplifier and would like all of my surround system to still work. Can anyone please help me find out where to buy this $600 Box so that I could still use my Bose amplifier and all the speakers with an eBay android unit please?

so what do you do if you have a 2001 before the Opt-1 worked?

Were you able to keep using your amplifier and is your amplifier
Bose fiber optic?

Did you do the work yourself or have a car audio shop do it?
